How to read Japanese Character that is Unfamiliar to You

今日は(こんにちは)my fellows of Japanese learner, so here we are, on the same boat. A brief introduction to you all, who have the same problem as I had. Stumbling upon these characters like 検索 on the web, many of us, I believe have a hard time in order to make out these characters that seem foreign to us. You all are unhappy and so do I. Me too have had this experience and spent much time to find out the way out of this mess.

In this post I just want to show you all how to do it before you give up a long pursue in learning this cool language. It’s actually pretty simple. All you need is a rudimentary knowledge in Hiragana, MS-Word and Japanese input language already installed in your computer. Before we get started, Please take a deep breath and a relaxed pose as this simple tutorial will show you the path to glory.

You have to have Japanese language installed in your computer. That’s mandatory.
Right click on language bar and then choose setting to bring us to this window.

add language

Click add and apply to confirm your choice.

stumbling upon these characters

Go to the web and highlight upon the characters that make your head spin!

Control C to copy and Control V to paste this Japanese guy to your MS-Word.

make sure hiragana option is selected
Make sure your Hiragana in Japanese language bar is activated.

While Japanese language bar in active hover your mouse and right click.

right click display click more to find hiragana

Click more to find out what hiragana is.
